Conference Registration

While IFSCCC is rooted in the Canadian community, our circle extends far beyond borders. No matter where you’re joining from, we warmly welcome you to join us in this shared space of learning and connection. We’re intentionally creating a gathering that brings together a global community of voices, experiences, and perspectivesβ€”because truly, the more, the merrier!

Our Community Agreements

When you choose to join IFSCCC, you are stepping into a shared learning space grounded in care, curiosity, and respect. These agreements help us create a container where everyone can feel as safe and supported as possible.

After registering, you’ll be invited to confirm your alignment with these agreements as part of the process.

  • We ask that you hold personal stories and sharings with care. Please do not share identifiable details outside of the conference space.

  • To support confidentiality and presence, screenshots, audio or video recording, and photographing slides or participants are not permitted.

Some sessions will be recorded for replay, and some will not (a number of presenters have chosen to keep their sessions unrecorded). We’ll clearly indicate recorded vs live-only sessions in the final schedule.

    For sessions that are recorded:
By attending, participants are providing their consent to be included in the recording. You can always control how you appear by choosing your level of participation. For example, keeping your camera off, using audio only, or engaging through chat rather than speaking on video.

We may make some recorded sessions more widely available for purchase in the future as part of our ongoing fundraising efforts towards an in-person 2027 conference.

  • Participation in experiential elements is always optional. You are welcome to pass, step away, turn off your camera, or modify your level of engagement at any time. We trust you to care for your system.

  • We invite everyone to engage with kindness, curiosity, and openness to difference. Harassment, discrimination, or behavior that disrupts the safety of the space will not be tolerated.

  • IFSCCC is a learning conference, not a therapy space or crisis support service. Please tend to your capacity and seek additional support outside the conference if needed.

  • Refunds are available up to one month prior to the conference (minus an administrative fee). Within one month, registrations are non-refundable. As with any virtual gathering, technological issues or unexpected changes may arise. If they do, we will respond with transparency and fairness.

Our Commitment

We, as organizers, acknowledge that we live and work on Indigenous lands and recognize our ongoing responsibilities as settlers in relation to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada. We recognize that different parts of us may be at different places in this learning, and we remain committed to staying open, accountable, and in relationship with this ongoing work. As we continue to learn and unlearn, we aim to move beyond acknowledgment and toward meaningful action, while recognizing that this is an imperfect and evolving process.

In this spirit, we offer a 50% registration rate for Indigenous Peoples on the Community-Support Rate. Please use code (INDWELCOME2026) upon checkout. We hope that this one small step can increase accessibility and honour the communities whose lands we gather on, while recognizing that this work is ongoing and requires continued reflection, accountability, and care.
